Are you looking for a next challenging step in your career – Join ASML Internal Audit, a team of Internal Audit professionals (12 FTE), which is guided by a philosophy of providing assurance and adding value to ASML risk management, control and governance processes.
Whilst maintaining its independent position, the internal audit activity co-operates with management to encourage that risks are taken in a controlled manner. Internal Audit’s assurance services are provided to the Board of Management and Audit Committee. The advisory role of Internal Audit is primarily the result of the recommendations included in internal audit reports addressing specific internal control weaknesses.
The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for managing the preparation, execution and finalization of internal audit assignments as part of the audit plan. Focus will be on evaluating risks and controls within ASMLs’ system of internal controls and communicate any findings to management and agree appropriate management actions. Audit procedures include process audits, program audits, location audits and IT. The Internal Audit Manager reports to the Director Internal Audit.
Academic level RA or RC equivalent is a pre.
At least 4 -8 years of experience in audit, within a Big4 company.
Team worker, listening skills, consulting style, independent, precise, to the point, excellent planner, reporting skills, excellent English and Dutch, willing to run the extra mile, empathetic, willing to travel (on average 2-4 weeks a year)
The Internal Audit function consists out of a team of 12 professionals. The Internal Audit team operates from Veldhoven (HQ) as well as from the San Diego (US) office. The Chief Audit Executive reports functionally to the Audit Committee and administratively to the Vice President Corporate Risk & Assurance. It is the responsibility of Internal Audit to provide independent and objective assurance and consulting services to improve the effectiveness of ASML’s risk management, control and governance processes.
