IT Support Specialist (m/f/d)

We are a high-tech company and leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chip manufacturers use to produce integrated circuits or computer chips. What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain and connect us. More than 1.400 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems at our facility in Berlin.

Role and responsibilities

• 2nd Level Support: Recording of all incoming support requests, preparation and processing of requests, handover to 3rd level support, active directory

• Simple administration of networks and switches (connecting clients and machines into one network)

• Installation and configuration of client operating systems and software as well as processing of procurement requirements

• Analysis and troubleshooting of incidents with hardware/software in the client area

• Installation of IT workstation equipment and creation of documentation and policies

• Integration of machine and peripheral devices under cleanroom conditions

• Support of production machines in the area of network and file access

• Troubleshooting of defective components in the client and machine area

• Hardware knowledge, assembly, and installation of hardware components, electronic components, and devices

Education and experience

• Training in the area of IT system electronics, IT system integration, or comparable training

• Practical experience in the described areas of responsibility

• Broad, in-depth hardware and Windows knowledge

• Customer service and high solution-oriented approach

• Resilience, and hands-on mentality and ability to work in a team,

• Good knowledge of software tools in the client-server environment, especially Microsoft software products

• MCSA Windows certification or comparable knowledge is desirable

• Fluent German is a MUST

• Good knowledge of English
