Job Mission

Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires logistic quality assurance on all levels in the supply chain. Within the Supply Chain Management organization Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) is responsible for securing (Logistics) Quality of parts and tools so material availability can be assured for ASML’s world-wide operating installed base. The CSCM Field Quality fulfills this need by securing the quality of returned materials (parts and tools) from the customer fab back to the suppliers. The CSCM Field Quality is responsible for improving or redesigning of our reverse logistics processes in CSCM to further improve warranty and repair rate and to drive the Quality mindset within CSCM.

Job Description

The CSCM Field Quality will identify quality gaps in the ASML goods return flows between warehouses and customer sites including identify root-causes of these gaps. The CSCM Field Quality team will execute detailed field analysis of part / tool failure to identify the failure mode root-causes. They will define and implement process improvements and measure success. Stakeholder management and process alignment (with CSCM Quality, Supplier Network Management, Customer Service and ASML Headquarter) are key for success.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage complex multi-sector projects according to agreed plan and budget
• Prevent issue re-occurrence by implement first containment and later structural solution
• Ensure good alignment with relevant stakeholders
• Plan & mobilize resources of the cross-sector project team to fulfill the project plans to drive the structural solutions
• Monitor & report the follow – up of these plans within the defined lead time Key Performance indicators (KPI’s)
• Drive continuous improvement for internal CSCM quality team way of working


• Relevant proven track record in managing and delivering (complex) projects
• Proven track record in reporting, analyzing an preventing quality issues
• MSOffice skilled
• Project management experience is preferred
• Operational experience in logistics
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
• SAP knowledge , SAP MM experience
• LEAN Six Sigma pref. is a green or black belt

Context of the position

The CSCM Field Quality will be part of the regional Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team and have a functional reporting line to the CSCM Quality team in Veldhoven. The extended CSCM Quality team is responsible for securing (Logistics) Quality of parts and tools so material availability can be assured for ASML’s world-wide operating installed base. To reach this goal, the CSCM Quality team will drive and execute a program of process improvements. This position will help making sure this process improvement program will be a success, preventing our customers from DoA’s and reducing waste and non-quality issues within our internal processes. The CSCM Field Quality works closely together with the Zone Quality Manager and CSCM Quality Coordinator in the region.
