Job Mission

Interfacing ASML’sBusiness Lines, we manage the introduction, the (engineering) changes and thephase out of products – taking supply chain requirements into account. It isour mission to enable concurrent engineering, manage complex product changes,secure the availability of materials and optimize the critical path and pursuevolume planning excellence.

Job Description

It is your task to optimize the productcritical path in different phases of the product lifecycle.
In the early phases, you have to understand theproto and pilot plan and their different configurations to be able to plan andreport on the timely definition and completeness of bill of material and timelyrelease of design documentation. Your project plan is the guardrail for a teamof Project Coordinators managing their project deliverables and yourconsolidated view of the Product as a whole.

Introducing new products to customer sitesrequires a balanced spare part and tool stocking strategy – taking into accountinventory cost and customer service. Next, systems at customers can get productenhancements or upgrades to newer configurations and return materials are beingre-used. As an interface between Development and Supply chain, you arepreparing and planning what is needed to execute this.

Towards the volume phase, you drive for a leansupply chain and plan for design maturity and planning maturity. If (new)supply chain issues arise, you are able to take this back to the rightdevelopment channel via the process of issue resolution management.

You contribute to the further development ofthe Product Lifecycle Management Department as part of Supply Chain Management.PLM project leads take part in or lead initiatives or improvement projects onboth levels of the organization.


MSc in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain / Logistics.


  • MSc with work experience of more than 5 years of which more than 2 years in new product introductions
  • Experience in planning and logistics processes in a high-tech, low-volume environment
  • Experience in process improvement and driving change

Context of the position

SupplyChain Management (SCM) is responsible for all inbound and outbound flows to andfrom the factory.
Product Lifecycle Management Project Leads are part of SCM Product LifecycleManagement. The holder of this
position reports to the manager Product Lifecycle Management. Strong interfacesexist with Development and
regular supply chain departments such as Customer Supply Chain Management,Supplier Network Management
Planning, Sourcing, Production Planning, System Test and Integration andProcurement.
