We are looking for highly-talented and motivated individuals to join our Advanced Technology team. As Senior Architect you will be responsible for definition and execution of feasibility studies for new, ‘holistic’application products that may bridge between simulation and wafer data, e-beam metrology and modeling. Through ASMLs portfolio of Lithography, Metrology and Simulation tools we generate massive amounts of data related to the semiconductor patterning process. Suitable data handling and analysis need to be established, in order to characterize patterning and tool performance, establish proof of concept and proof data for new customer applications.
As a Senior Architect at ASML you will be responsible for defining and implementing data acquisition and analysis to support system engineering and product definition, including generation of performance budgets. You will work with experts in data science,scanner, metrology and software domains. In addition you will be expected to interact with customers to understand issues and present new solutions. You will work closely with R&D, marketing, field application engineers and sales in ASML, prepare and present technical data and papers in major conferences and customers. Occasional overseas travel is required.
Mastersor PhD in Physics, EECS or Data Sciences
Minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience in semiconductor related field
Familiarity with photolithography and/or SEM/e-beam technologies and applications
Proficiency in Python or Matlab for data analysis or simulation, ability to handle large data sets and perform statistical analysis
Ability to perform in cross-disciplinary and cross-organizational projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Context of the position
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
