This position requires access to controlled technology, as definedin the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualifiedcandidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technologyprior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed withapplicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
As a Buyer at HMI, an ASML company, you will tackle new challenges in our fast-paced, dynamic environment.Each day offers something new as we grow our San Jose team.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·Vendor and Purchase order management
·Ensure that orders are delivered on time and at cost.
·Resolve billing and shipping problems and provide information to suppliers.
·Identify suppliers, select merchandise and negotiate bills of sale for a business.
·Inspect deliveries for shipping errors, improper handling, or quality issues.
·Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, verify delivery, approve payment and maintain necessary records.
·Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
·2+ years of directly related experience
·Intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Oracle, and Arena skills.
·Knowledge of Contract Law and other Procurement regulations.
·Strong English communication skills – both written and oral
·Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
