We are looking for a mid-level/senior CI-CD support specialist, a person who can assist in improving the set-up of the CI/CD infrastructure and take up hands-on technical support of the environment.

Job Mission

Work on the complete CI/CD stack. Maintain and modify the configuration of the infrastructure. Safeguard the correct usage of the environment.

Job Description

-Take ownership of the CI/CD infrastructure. Working in an structured way, avoiding shortcuts and manual changes. Infrastructure as code must be one of your goals.
-Be able to identify the areas with room for improvement. Consult with end users to guide them through the process of defining efficient and effective CI/CD processes to help reach their targets.
-Keep sight of the big picture e.g. the performance impact of the CI/CD on existing infrastructure and applications.
-Provide solutions that can be monitored.
-Investigate and implement non-standard changes with a limited scope.
-Provide 1st and 2nd line support.
-Keep abreast with relevant literature, means and methods.


At least Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT and/or Engineering.


-Any relevant experience and proven experience in large technical software development environments.
-Experience with the SCM tools used within this environment: SVN, Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory.
-Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bamboo.
-Experience in Linux/Unix environment.
-Experience with Python, Groovy, shell scripting, Perl, Ruby.
-Experience with monitoring tools: Splunk, SCOM.
-Experience with infrastructure as code: Puppet.

Context of the position

The Competence Center Product is a sub-department within the IT organization; this department is responsible for the infrastructure and tooling for ASML’s development and engineering department. Within this competence center there are three solution teams: mechanical, electrical and software engineering. The Engineering IT services Software (EIS-SW) group is responsible for the complete software development environment that is used by almost 3000 product software developers within ASML.
