CS - EUV Technical Support Engineer - Taichung
In a nutshell
Within ASML the Customer Support (CS) group is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the departments in this group is EUV Field Service Dept.
In this role you are responsible to lead Flow & Temperature control troubleshooting and defectivity diagnostic as field expert technicism in Hsinchu team.
As an EUV Technicism, technical support engineer you are responsible to lead Flow & Temperature control system troubleshooting and defectivity diagnostic as field expert technicism in Hsinchu team.
In order to fulfill the customer’s requirement, it is essential to have the willness diving technical detail investigation and communicate skill between different parties.
Technical support engineer often gets the opportunity to travel for new platform introduction and solving at customer site (up to 30% of your time).
•Solving complex technical problems by creating deterministic forward looking action plans and remote support engineers.
•On-site support is often required to solve the problem at the customer site.
•Support alignment and expectations with customer based on your technical background judgment within the problem solving process. Involving additional head quarter resource helps to drive fast incident resolution.
•Initial the prevention process in case same issue happening again in future. Collaboration with the Industrial Engineering and Development is necessary to establish that goal.
•The diversity of problems in a fast evolving company requires a continuous drive to stay updated and informed on new technologies, functionalities and products. Being eager to learn and absorb this knowledge are very valuable.
Masters technical degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Computer Science.
At least 3 years’ relevant work experience as an Engineer semiconductor for high tech products. Photo-lithography, Electro-Mechanical, and Ultra Clean Vacuum.
