Job Description

In Malta, NY, ASML seeks Senior Application Engineer to serve as a key expert in creating tomorrow’s value through new product introductions and ensuring delivery of application and customer specific requirements; serve as key interface, overseeing multiple competencies supporting the customer’s node transition from research into volume; train local organization to ensure on-site engineers provide ongoing customer support; working with various levels of internal ASML experts, participate in the introduction of next-generation lithography equipment; combine leadership with excellent investigative and analytical skills to deliver timely, high-quality solutions; run performance improvement projects in a complex environment with significant business impact in cooperation with customers and translate the results into improvement specifications for ASML’s development department; contribute knowledge of customer technology requirements to new development projects; define supplemental and improved ways of working, and lead and drive towards solutions for structural issues; identify potential for revenue generation and promote/evaluate ASML solutions; and drive implementation of the Customer Support Applications Engineering community’s vision, mission and departmental initiatives.Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a closely-related field and 5 years of experience in an IC manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on lithography; strong focus on customer intimacy and ability to manage customer relationships; ability to organize, initiate, drive, and influence based on inspiration, motivation and expertise; clear oral and written English language communication skills; and up to 10% domestic and international travel required.Apply online at www.asml.com.EEO/AA (W/M/Vets/Disability) employer.
