What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain and connect us. More than 1.400 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems at our facility in Berlin.As Technical Unit Manager, Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for
quality assurance within the Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Stage Components division.
Role and responsibilities
- Planning, controlling and technical management of the group's employees, overall responsibility for the group's tasks and projects, as well as taking on your own projects, including cross-product projects, with the following tasks:
- Responsibility for the assurance and improvement of quality as well as the ability to deliver in the entire Stage Components division.
- Ensuring and optimizing quality assurance processes and tools within the division
- Responsible for internal and external complaint management:
- Recording, evaluating, processing and monitoring error messages from production as well as customer and supplier complaints.
- Close coordination with the process engineers and the group and production managers regarding necessary measures
- Organizing and monitoring corrective measures for future error prevention
- Monitoring and further development of quality data management for internal and external use, e.g. 8D reports
- Requesting and evaluating all quality-relevant data, creating quality reports and deriving necessary measures
- Training of quality and production staff on QA-relevant topics
- Organization and implementation of internal quality and supplier audits
- Active cooperation in quality assurance
Education and experience
- Completed technical studies (master / diploma) with a focus on quality
- Other eligible qualification: Completed training as a master craftsman with several years of adequate professional experience as well as additional qualification in the quality division
- Extensive experience in the area of quality assurance as well as in the implementation of optimization projects
- Confident handling of Q methods, e.g. Six Sigma,
- Knowledge of quality management
- First management experience
- Sound knowledge of the production of optical components or complex systems
- Confident handling of SAP and MS Office, especially Excel
- Very independent, structured and customer-oriented way of working
- Assertiveness and strong communication skills
- Very good proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
