Make available to local engineering personnel technical training courses which have been developed and deployed at another ASML site:
1)Gathering input from management, prioritize remotely developed Technical Training Center (TTC) supplied courses.
2)Together with TTC, determine best course delivery method (CBT, virtual classroom, trainer travels, students travel, etc) and facilities. Driving the development of the delivery method may be necessary.
3)Plan multiple course delivery. Together with administrative staff, arrange facilities, delivery means, and schedule training with pupils.
4)Facilitate delivery of courses together with admin staff, including identification and organization of trainers.
Lead the development of new technical training courses:
1)Identify the problem that the course is meant to solve. Talk to stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME), gather and assemble data and report back the findings. Develop a high-level scope. Gathering input from stakeholders, prioritize remotely developed Technical Training Center (TTC) supplied courses.
2)Create a course development plan, based on company culture, existing materials, resources, budget, stakeholder and Subject Matter Expert involvement, vendor solutions and a host of other variables. Obtain stakeholder signoff for the plan, making revisions as necessary, ensure you have shared agreement to what constitutes a successful engagement, and that everyone agrees on how success will be measured. Lock down and establish the scope, resources, timeframe, deliverables and success metrics, as well as a plan for maintaining the program (if needed) after the project concludes. Note that any impediments to learning success that are beyond the scope of a training project should be flagged and identified during this part of the engagement. Also, stakeholder agreement and buy-in is critical to success.
3)Implement the course development plan. Together with the course developer / SME build the instructional design, course development and learning activities.
This also might include buying and implementing an off-the-shelf solution, setting up coaching activities or something as simple as creating a job aid. During this time period, the methods for assessing the learning activities should be developed and put into place. Must be able to supportselecting the most effective learning activities, experience, skillsand knowledge for conventional learning, and keep up to date with new ways of learning (e.g. gamification on e-learning, social learning (learning 2.0), self-directed learning, Innovative Performance Support, etc.).
4)Evaluate. Collect evaluations, assessments, conduct interviews or complete any other activities designed around measuring program success. Gather and compile this information for reporting purposes. If the project scope permits, make any changes to the process and materials based on this feedback.
5)Project closure. Provide any agreed-upon reporting, conduct a "lessons learned" as requested, transition the program into maintenance mode, and close out the project.
Be the local expert and technical training point of contact for Cornerstone based Learning Management System (LMS).
Create and implement a Technical Training strategy for the ASML Wilton engineering organization.
Liaise with Soft Skills Learning Staff to ensure coordinated messaging and support to stakeholders as needed.
Gather and document learning path definition for local technical roles and job grades:
1)Gathering information from stakeholders, identify learning paths to be defined and make a plan.
2)Together with stakeholders, define learning paths.
3)Make learning paths available structurally in the LMS to stakeholders through the TTC to use for employee training plans.
Some travel required for knowledge transfer and alignment with remote Technical Training Center.
-Master or Bachelor degree, preferably in Science, Technology, and Educational Science, or equivalent experience.
-Gained knowledge and skills on corporate education.
-Training in Cornerstone LMS.
-Proven experience in preferred technical related educational field.
-Procure learning solutions from third parties.
-Up to date on technical learning and development design and interventions:
Learning intervention techniques.
IT-tools, applications and latest technology to enhance learning.
-Experience with Cornerstone LMS:
Knowledge of Captivate.
Timely delivery of quality learning programs following ADDIE model or equivalent.
Timely escalation of risks and issues in course delivery to PL and Management.
Identify opportunities for collaboration and faster course development.
