In Wilton, CT, ASML seeks Design Engineer 3 to provide TeamCenter administration, NX/TC support and training in a multi-site environment with 750+ users; independently evaluate, select and apply standard data management techniques, procedures and criteria to reduce overall data processing time; cooperate with other disciplines to ensure timely realization of technical product documentation; develop specifications for custom programming applications; assist TC/NX users with everyday management and CAD tasks, data access, release and configuration management and best modeling techniques; conduct software testing and troubleshooting; monitor application server performance, and ensure adequate documentation to describe CAD best practices and data management procedures; prepare and deliver live and computer based training using “Captivate” software; provide technical guidance to users; collaborate with ASML co-developers regarding CAD data exchange; create custom software utilities to facilitate end user access to information to non-standard (project parts and assemblies, technical product documentation and system engineering guidelines documents) and standard (vendor components, materials and surface treatments) database objects, code workflows and various reports; develop algorithms and coding custom Check-Mate checkers using NX Knowledge Fusion software to validate CAD file integrity and compliance with company standards; develop NX Open utilities for design automation and simulation; and configure and support BCT aClass component classification software.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems or a closely-related field; 5 years of relevant experience; understanding of complex mechanical, optical and mechatronics designs with tight tolerances, and precise adjustment mechanisms and tools; experience developing best practices for 3D part and assembly modeling, assembly sequencing, 2D drafting and 3D capture of product and manufacturing information; NX assembly skills, including solid hands-on knowledge of various deformable parts, assembly arrangements and other advanced NX modeling techniques; and solid programming skills with Siemens Teamcenter, NX (specifically Knowledge Fusion and NX Open), MS Sharepoint, Spotfire, VBA and Java; and up to 10% domestic and international travel required.Apply online at www.asml.com.EEO/AA (W/M/Vets/Disability) employer.
