ASML – the world’s leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry – has prioritized to apply Automation throughout it’s IT services landscape. As part of the Masterplan DC program, the DC Automation project has implemented the Automation Center of Excellence (ACoE), an automation pipeline and a set of products to be provisioned using that pipeline.

Job Mission

The value streams vision is to provide a flexible and reliable cloud and automation platform to enable accelerated and sustainable adoption of cloud and automation across ASML and maximizing the ability to realize its benefits while reducing risks and supporting ASMLs growth.

At this moment the value streams consists out of 2 larger DevOps teams:
-Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)
-Automation Center of Excellence (ACoE) for infrastructure
These teams consist out of solution architecture/consultancy, product delivery and platform operations.
In this role you will be reporting to the Director Infrastructure Services.
As a Value stream management you will play an integral role in letting the value stream run smoothly.

Job Description

In this role you are responsible for the management of the value stream cloud & automation.
The value stream manager is responsible for:
-The vision and strategy of the value stream and its execution
-The outcome of the value stream
-Ensuring flow of the value stream
-The budget and how this is put to use
-Stakeholder management
-Coaching team members, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners on Agile and DevOps practices and mindset
-Removing impediments for the teams in the value stream.
-Operational accountability of the entire value stream
-Manage and optimize the flow of value through the value stream: create more customer value, grow the demand, eliminate waste from every process, be as cost efficient possible
-Ensure continuous improvement, including but not limited to: delivering and monitoring of DevOps value stream KPIs, defining and implementing improvements, coach teams on topic
-Removing impediments for value stream, assist with spotting and resolving dependencies and conflicts
-The total outcome of the value stream,compliance to rules and regulations and agreed upon way of working
-Provide input on resourcing question; ensure teams are set up to solve the customers questions, coordinate with other business units which supply team members
-Coaching team members, Scrum Masters and Product Owners on Agile and DevOps mindset and practices
-Stakeholder management, including sharing and communicating the value stream vision and strategy
-Managing expectations with budget holders
-Ensure adherence to critical Service Levels / operating agreements with the Business – incident management
-Coordinate with myriad business functional areas that contribute manpower, product/service components, information, and domain knowledge to the creation of value in the flow

Education

Bachelor’s/Master degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science or Electronics

Experience

-5+ years of relevant IT experience
-SCRUM and SAFe certified
-Understand agile way of working
-Experience with outsourcing of IT services
-Work experience from large, international companies and have dealt with or worked for global service providers.
-Preferably have experience in working in a R&D heavy company with high Intellectual Property risks
