In Boise, ID, ASML seeks Senior Competence Engineer to provide onsite product application support to customer engineering teams, developing strong technical relationship with direct customer interface; manage product engagement with regular customer review meetings and bring critical customer requirements to internal teams; front-line support at customer site with face-to-face interface as well as email and phone communications, characterizing issues reported, and providing timely solutions; cover 1st line customer support role (liaison between Product Engineer Group / R&D and customer on recipe development) and product support role (focus on product recipe debugging for advanced nodes); drive and monitor monitoring on-going customer engagements, coordinating customer response and driving technical responses to customers; define technical specs and timeline with customer & Product Engineering Group, drafting Statement of work, establishing regular review meetings, and bringing technical requirements or technical issues to members of Product Engineering Group and/or R&D team; conduct onsite basic training or coordinating requested training for the customer; and report/track of customer engagement status weekly; work with JIRA tracking system, to manage open customer cases.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or a closely-related field and 7 years of experience, previous experience with direct customer interface, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and six weeks travel per year for training and meetings to ASML’s San Jose facility and occasional other domestic travel required.Apply online at www.asml.com.
