In this position you’ll have a unique opportunity to work together with Subject Matter Experts from diverse fields across the ASML value chain.

Job Mission

The Quality Assessments Team is responsible for assessments in 4 different areas: Supplier Audits, Customer Audits, ISO9001 Audits and Excursion Assessments. These require a thorough planning and preparation on the objectives and timing, the execution of the assessment itself, the reporting to the stakeholders and last but not least a closed loop follow up to ensure the objectives will be met to ensure Customer satisfaction. The scope is the entire ASML value chain: from (sub) suppliers through Purchasing, Development and Engineering, Manufacturing, Install and Field. The types of assessments can vary from Quality Management System to Specific Theme Assessments, eg: Product Quality. Every assessment will provide new learnings and insights which are input to contiuous improvement for ASML Quality roadmap as well as the assessment process it self. The Quality Improvement Expert will be very instrumental in execution of specific assessments were he/she will be assigned to

Job Description

-Help to understand what triggers an assessment and translate these insights into clear assessment objectives
-Support the (X-sector) assessment team for success; work to get stakeholder communication, commitment and participation based on E2E responsibility in place
-Coordinate the assessment as determined by the assessment team
-Enable reporting which captures the key messages on the assessment findings
-Support the X-sector assessment team to translate the report into concrete actions and planning
-Help to drive closure of the resulting actions
-Coordinate regular transparent management reporting on findings and closure progress
-Develop and maintain the required network.
The Quality Improvement Expert, together with the X-sector assessment team operates as a part of the solution by e.g. advising, coaching and/or driving structural improvements.


-MSc, Bachelor and/or equivalent by experience
-Certified Lean 6 Sigma green/black belt or comparable is a plus


-About 3 years of operational and/or quality experience within a technical product development/production-oriented organization, preferably within ASML
-Networking skills
-Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality assurance concepts & tools (preferably low volume production) as SPC, FMEA, 6 Sigma, problem solving
-Experience in process thinking and auditing
-Experience in participating in Quality improvement projects (e.g. Green Belt or similar)
-Experience in data management, data analytics and metrics

Context of the position

Reports to: Head of Quality Assessments Team within Global Quality
Interfaces with: All sectors within ASML, operational process owners.
Typical stakeholders:SVP of Quality, Program Managers, Sector-/Cluster-/Department heads, Functional Cluster Owners Project Leads and Quality Managers.
Travel: up to 10%
