We are a high-tech company and leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chip manufacturers use to produce integrated circuits or computer chips. What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain and connect us. More than 1,400 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems at our facility in Berlin.

Role and responsibilities

  • Participating in developing an intelligent, sensor-based process for predicting material removal and supporting the production staff

  • Knowledge of existing and future technologies at ASML and supporting the implementing of new technological processes

  • Developing and implementing own solution approaches and improvement proposals as part of the product and technology projects

  • Timely and functional provision of corresponding programs and program sections

Education and experience

  • Basic programming and image processing knowledge

  • Production technology sector knowledge

  • Preferable: initial experience in sensor connection, data processing and/or machine learning

  • Ideally this will be your first experience in the grinding or polishing sectors

  • Ideally, stronghold in practical work and finding creative solutions

  • Advanced knowledge in the areas of technical mechanics, programming and design

  • Experience in project work desirable

  • Independent, structured way of working

  • Good analytical and communication skills

  • Very good knowledge of German and English

  • Currently studying computer science, mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline

  • Working on your master's thesis or finishing your bachelor's degree by working as a research assistant in preparation for your master's thesis
