Job Mission

Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of all ASML products.
In this sector, the department Software Infrastructure and Computer Systems and their employees have the mission to define, plan, control and test common software platform solutions to be implemented in the machines we sell to customers.
In this role, you will manage the maintenance flow for the ASML TwinScan common software platform.
You will also be responsible to improve the Platform Quality in order to reduce the inflow of maintenance requests.

Job Description

  • You will be the Senior Project Lead and the scaled Agile Program Manager for the maintenance activities of our TwinScan common software platform (operating systems, infrastructure and facilities).
  • In this role you will be accountable for managing the priority setting over multiple programs and execution of the prioritized backlog.
  • For analyzing the incoming issues and request you are in charge of a dedicated support team. This team is responsible for analyzing and quick fixing issues. For the prioritized list of issues you are in charge of a scaled agile train (Product Manager) to plan, execute and report the work.
  • Together with the support team you will be able to make a proposal how to improve the quality so the inflow of issues will be reduced.
  • If you love to juggle with priorities of multiple stakeholders and have a high drive to make it happen and help our customers and stakeholders.


Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, embedded Systems or related technical fields.


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management in a high-tech, enterprise environment.
  • Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced experience in Scaled agile (SAFe)
  • A strong background in delivering end-to-end technical solutions to clients.
  • Experience in motivating and driving teams.
  • Broad experience in computer systems and software engineering.

Context of the position

As an organization, we need to think ahead, anticipating our customers’ needs when it comes to processing power, operating system functionality, and communication with detectors and sensors. Our department’s challenge is to develop a new computer architecture capable of handling future processing requirements and peripherals.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work.
