In Wilton, CT, ASML seeks Senior Project Leader to be responsible for the organization, structure and planning of optical and mechanical components that make up ASML’s alignment sensors used within its photolithography tools, as well as functional software development; activities cover the complete development cycle from architecture definition to final integration and high volume manufacturing; pro-actively drive the development work of a multi-disciplinary team (between 20 and 40 engineers including hardware, functional, software, manufacturing, supply chain, and equipment engineers, as well as physicists) and participate in reviewing concepts and designs on all above-mentioned criteria; report to group leader as well as Project Cluster Manager and other senior managers; maintain regular alignment with owner of overall function to which his or her module contributes; create a work breakdown and translate it into transparent plan utilizing Microsoft Project EP; maintain deliverable plans according to triple constraint of timing, resources and scope, and reports on progress; coordinate deliverables from team, driving performance, availability, cost and timing; ensure cross discipline dependencies are identified, planned and executed; manage resources in a team and takes operational responsibility within projects; identify bottlenecks and/or improvement opportunities within the team; manage and steer co-developers, aligning them with work breakdowns and plans; assesses technical risks and create mitigation plans; identify risks and facilitate testing at component and system levels; and ensure project deliverables are designed for HVM.Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optics or a closely-related field and two years of relevant experience developing, integrating and testing complex products in a multi-disciplinary environment, and leading a small to medium-sized team; knowledge of MS Enterprise Project; English communication skills (both spoken and written); and approximately 20% travel to Europe, Asia and within the U.S. required.Apply online at www.asml.com.EEO/AA (W/M/Vets/Disability) employer.
