In Wilton, CT, ASML seeks a Supplier Engineer 3 in the Electronics Department to serve as a link between the Design and Engineering (D&E) development team and the development team of the supplier, with a primary focus on parts quality; operate in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary development environment, developing and maintaining at an operational level the relation to the supplier with the purpose of creating an optimal engineering collaboration, and industrializing new electronic assemblies for volume production; work closely with supplier and company development teams to optimizethe effectiveness and efficiency of the product generation process, in alignment with company project plan; engage early with supplier in the D&E project to make sure that the technology and expertise of the company and supplier are merged; ensure parts quality, manufacturability, testability and serviceability aspects are covered in the design phase; document the D&E project collaboration, including supplier and ASML responsibilities and roles via a Statement of Work (SoW); participate in supplier selection in new product introduction phase; accept the design and/or specification of complete and detailed parts qualification process, accept qualified parts, develop lean process and flow including process failure mode effect analysis, and participate in first article inspection; define and maintain supplier interface processes; and contribute to supplier development to improve operational excellence by driving execution of existing agreements, improvement actions, and participation in supplier audits.Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a closely-related field and 2 years of experience in ahigh tech development environment with a focus on supplier management, part quality and outsourcing; experience designing boards and cables, manufacturing processes and testing experience; experience in PCB visual and functional testing, In­ Circuit Test (ICT) and cable testing; detailed knowledge of manufacturing techniques for cables/connectors, PCB assembly, programmable logic and electrical rack/cabinet assembly; and 10-15% domestic and international travel required.Apply online at www.asml.com.EEO/AA (W/M/Vets/Disability) employer
