Job Mission

As Agile Coach you will facilitate and lead the transition of IT to a more Agile DevOps way of working. You will be working with a team of coaches who are able to coach different parts of the organization, from team level up to leadership to become more agile.

Job Description

The Agile Coach is responsible for designing a strategy for the organizational adoption of Agile. This includes every stage of adoption, from the introduction of Agile and employee education, to fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile, to sustaining Agile methodologies and continually offering strategies for improvement.
This task entails implementing Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments in an organization. The Agile Coach must use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation. In order to do this, the Agile Coach must also embody the Agile principles and lead by example.
Together with a team of coaches the Agile Coach is responsible for implementing the agile transformation within IT in a controlled way. The overall goal is to increase speed, flexibility, availability, reduce risk and in the end improve customer satisfaction. He must be able to educate employees at all levels, including senior, and at times clients, on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work.


Bachelors or master’s degree


- Several years of experience working as a Scrum Coach
- Several years of experience working as Agile coach
- Experience with SAFe SPC
- Experience with introducing Agile in a complex environment

Personal skills

- Leading and facilitating the change, change management
- Strong communication skills in English and preferably Dutch
- Advocate openness, transparency and trust
- Deep understanding of Agile mindset and experience with different Agile teams, passionate about the subject
- Capability to inspire and motivate
- Communicative skills on various levels
- Clear in his / her recommendations
- Training skills
