Job Mission

  • Being the principle knowledge owner of laser and X ray safety competence and main contact for laser and X ray safety issues.
  • Defining laser and X ray safety competence training matrix, ensuring training of related SEM and Optical engineers to the desired competence level and driving the growth of laser and X ray safety competence maturity.

Job Description

  • Working with design teams of function clusters for new product development to ensure new designs for product development meet ASML GID and industrial safety standards in the areas of laser safety, radiation safetyand X ray safety.
  • Supporting Project Leaders of function clusters in their need for laser and X ray safety competence and help design teams to embed laser and X ray safety in the designs.
  • Manage system engineering deliverables in the product generation process such as identify of key laser and X ray safety risks, propose subjects of SRAs, discuss feasible mitigations and suggesttest methodologies for safety verifications.
  • Responsible for finding the gaps of laser and X ray safety risks during the integration of subsystems into the whole product.
  • Forming and leading laser and x Ray safety competence network team which has to ensure the designs from each function cluster satisfy safety General Information Documents (GID) by supporting development projects.

Education

  • Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent in mechanical, EE or industry engineering.

Experience

  • Knowledge of semiconductor equipment safety standards, such as SEMI S2, SEMI S8, OSHA, ASME, ANSI, laser and radiation safety standard.
  • Knowledge of safety risk assessment methodology, such as SEMI S10 and ISO 12100.
  • Broad technical knowledge in laser and X ray and affinity with related disciplines.
  • Experience in ASML is a plus.

Personal skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Team player with team leader experience; such as plan activity, drive progress and build teams.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills.
  • Being able to manage small team of people will be a plus.
