Introduction

ASML is continuously developing new machines like the latest generation EUV machine, upgrades and services. The technical and organizational complexity is increasing all the time, while the machine must be designed first time right. Therefore, it is key that all requirements and dependencies are clear at all times.

Requirements engineering is one of the main pillars to achieve this. The basic process and management support is there, and we are currently at the start of introducing a requirements management application. Therefore, we need dedicated experts to have it rolled out: people who can drive the change and continuously improve and form the core team of requirements engineers embedded in our organization.

Job Mission

  • Train and support development project teams, such that they are successful in creating and managing their requirements in an effective way.
  • Help them find solutions for the more difficult cases.
  • Increase the maturity of requirements engineering by actively learning & relaying that knowledge into the projects and continuously improving our processes and supporting applications.
  • Within the team, make the introduction of requirements engineering a success.

Job Description

  • Give trainings (both on requirements engineering and requirements management application).
  • Actively support development projects. Help find solutions for difficult cases.
  • Create advanced training material.
  • Continuously improve way of working and tools (together with the core team).

Education

Masters degree in a technical area.

Experience

At least 3 years of working experience in:

  • Developing & managing requirements of complex products;
  • Improving product development processes;
  • Hands on change management;

Preferably, experience with ASML development processes (such as V-model).

Personal skills

  • Training skills: can explain complex topics in easy to understand ways;
  • Ability to quickly understand the essentials of complex concepts;
  • Team player: can challenge others in a respectful way, has supportive attitude, can quickly build positive working relationships with people from diverse technical and cultural backgrounds;
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and is considered an equal sparring partner for product development architects & engineers;
  • Solid networking skills to connect people to each other and to find the right person at the right time;

Context of the position

You will be part of the requirements engineering core team, which is responsible for the roll-out, continuous support and improvements on requirements engineering company-wide.

Other information

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
