Light sources are critical for ASML’s sensors. As a project leader you take charge of making the best design for our lithography machines.

Our group secures performance, Total Cost of Ownership and reliability of ASML light sources ensuring that we deliver high quality light for ASML sensors
The goal is to develop a broadband high brightness light source for sensor applications. Your team has optical setups and can do experimentation supporting critical design aspects.
You have the lead of a team of approximately 10-15 persons. The team is multidisciplinary and consists of optical designers, mechanical designers, electronical designers and supporting groups. You need to manage that the team makes the technical and detailed design.
Next to that you are responsible for
-Maintaining the project status and reporting to stakeholders
-Interfacing with suppliers to secure critical parts
-Interfacing with ASML factory to set-up a manufacturing facility
-Technical University with PhD or Master’s degree in physics or mechanical engineering
-Experienced project leader within a technical environment
-At least 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
-Strong affinity with sensor systems and / or optics
-Has a helicopter view, can cover a broad technical scope
-Content-driven project leader
-Shows creativity, initiative, discipline and team spirit.
-Apt communicator with good command of the English language.
-Team builder with positive attitude and can-do mentality
-Able to structure and maintain overview
Context of the position
Within the BM Sensors department, the Light Sources group’s mission is to deliver high quality light for ASML sensors. The group is responsible for the physical and optical design of these light sources.
