Job Mission

You will initiate & drive improvement initiatives through our customer supply chain. You will be challenged on how your plans will improve performance structurally within a unique and highly demanding environment where performance, availability and cost are driving forces. You will steer the supply chain automation roadmap to optimize ASML’s Customer Supply Chain performance together with the management team, operational team leaders and key stakeholders. With your team, you need to deliver new breakthroughs in our supply chain that enable cost reduction and performance improvements.

Job Description

  • Identify new opportunities throughout the customer supply chain (strategic, tactical & operational improvements)
  • Drive implementation of automation roadmap though the End-2-End supply chain
  • Define prioritization together with key stakeholdes on next supply chain developments
  • Connect the dots between the various projects to identify synergies and/or conflicts
  • Continuously improve information systems in line with performance management information/process needs
  • Develop your team to higher performance level

Education

Relevant Master degree (e.g Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)

Experience

  • 5-10 years relevant experience in a large international company (industry or consultancy), ideally Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Procurement background
  • A tactical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills, decision making skills, change management skills, people management skills and project management skills
  • Analytical and able to organize and prioritize workload

  • Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure
  • Result oriented, convincing
  • Excellent professional communication in English.
  • Pro-active and “can do” mentality

Context of the position

The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable logistics services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the logistics aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments and transfers.
