Support Wilton Factory in Quality metric reporting and advancement of defect prevention and variability reduction initiatives (SPC, pFMEA, 6-Sigma).

Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity in our Wilton, Connecticut facility to join our Quality Operations Team. In this position you will manage key reporting and quality initiatives. You will interface with production, quality and development engineers on new or current manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for the following key duties:
-Planning and execution of prevention activities (SPC, FMEA).
-Provide clear periodic quality management reporting.
-Facilitate and advance Wilton Factory Operations 6 Sigma.
-Integrate quality assessment and defect prevention processes.


Bachelor degree in Industrial, Production, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical or Chemical engineering, or equivalent experience.


-10+ years relevant experience in hi tech manufacturing environment with a focus on quality engineering, planning, reporting, executing statistical process control and process FMEA.
-Working in quality or manufacturing.
-Previous team supervisory experience and a 6 Sigma Black Belt required.
-ASQ-CQE a plus.
-Broad knowledge of Quality tools (SPC, TQM, FMEA, 8-D, Gauge R&R etc.).
-Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Minitab.
-SAP knowledge a plus.
