In San Jose, CA, ASML seeks Senior Project Leader to own and be responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) sub-project(s) supporting the introduction of new systems to the field; plan, support and execute projects to prepare customer support (CS) to be ready to install and service ASML's new products in the field; support New Product Logistics (NPL) function setup; integrate ASML NPL knowledge into HMI; support material ordering and delivery of D&E's proto machine builds; ensure that requirements from the field are included in the design and development of the Service Mix (Tools, Procedures and Spares); track requirements compliance; define containment requirements and ensure risks are mitigated; manage configuration of hardware and software, upgrade planning, and review with marketing for customer communication; define process for delivering equipment within the standard way of working; set up and operate issue intake and solution roll-out processes, aligning handover criteria with the line organization to migrate the execution of processes from the project to the line organization; as tools move from proto to volume manufacturing, coordinate the New Product Transfer (NPT); serve as point of contact for sales, RPM, and manufacturing teams, coordinating with local installation teams at the customer site; ensure that the field has the required information to prepare itself; drive execution and report status; generate key decision deliverables for the product generation process to ensure cross sector approvals for all the NPI services; with support of start-up equipment support engineers, manage Intro & Upgrade Support projects; and provide feedback on experiences and lessons learned; own and be responsible for e-beam inspection equipment, including continuous development and improvement of the eScan420, and initial plan development of the eP6; coordinate and communicate among D&E, factories (located in Taiwan and China) and customer service worldwide to ensure manuals/tooling/procedure/infrastructure readiness for volume operations; coordinate and communicate with supply chain management (SCM) to ensure material availability for NPI; represent factory and CS in D&E organization to bring requirements of volume operations into new designs; use the PGP2011 process to communicate to management and align cross-functionally; plan and execute NPI-manufacturing and NPI-CS projects, including risk management and lessons learned to contribute to next generation designs; manage project closure to hand over NPI deliverables to line organization of volume operations; coordinate machine installation activities with local CS team and D&E start-up equipment support team, especially to realize 1st customer shipment; manage reporting of NPI progress, including collaborating with executive management to plan project strategy in order to address gaps and the ways to leverage technical expertise where appropriate to win opportunities for the company; serve as the point of contact within D&E organization for factory and CS escalations; leading the delivery of modules to ensure project implementation within the defined timelines and budgets and tracking the testing status and defect logs; and interact regularly with clients' technical managers, systems architects and quality assurance team members during the various stages of the program.Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or a closely-related field and 2 years ofproject, change or service delivery management experience in a high-tech equipment industry required.Apply online at www.asml.com.EEO/AA (W/M/Vets/Disability) employer.
