Job Mission

Within ASML D&E (Development & Engineering) the ASML Information System (AIS) has a vision to be the “one-stop-shop for data and information provisioning”. The goal of AIS is to help ASML business users with their business intelligence questions and to improve the quality of reports, applications and data provisioning within D&E. The service team plays a central role to achieve this goal.
You will be working in our service team, a small team with big impact! To be successful you collaborate with and support the IT department, D&E and the AIS Agile Development Teams.
AIS service team divides work in 4 main categories:
-Deployment of data, tooling and training
-Promotion of AIS via different media (website, presentations, knowledge sharing events, trainings etc.)
-Following and understanding new developments within the AIS Value Stream
-Support users of AIS, in case of report-, tool-, data- or authorization failure

Job Description

As Service Team Member you take responsibility to:
-Answer questions of business users
-Troubleshoot tooling problems as well as issues in front- and back-end systems.
-Deliver training to business stakeholders
-Facilitate walk-in and call-in hours for the business (on a structural, weekly re-occurring basis)
-Advice business users about best-practices in report building and available data sources
-Build reports on ad-hoc basis and implement small changes in the existing reports
-Guiding AIS stakeholders to re-use existing solutions, create commonality and fortify the community
-Validate and deploy new tools or tool upgrades in the BI area
-Request and validate front-end transports, licenses and data assignments
-Create and improve guidelines for new developments in order to create sustainable solutions.


BSc / HBO degree, preferably MsC degree in IT or similar technical direction.


-2-5 years experience in working with IT-support and/or working within business intelligence area
-Knowledge of business intelligence, databases and related technologies
-Experience with Data Visualization methods and tooling
-Knowledge/understanding of complex production (control) processes, preferably in a high tech environment
-Deeper understanding and ability to work within regular IT-landscape. You understand us when we talk about escalation, incident, problem, change, platform, service management, SLA
-Knowledge of Python, JavaScript and Spotifre or Tibco TERR is a bonus
