Introduction

The mission is to enable an on-time EUV ramp in the customer new nodes at designated cost while securing a profitable service business. The contribution of Service Cost Manager is to enable results by implementing Operational Excellence with the service teams by defining, reviewing, and driving Product and organizational performance and KPIs and by removing inefficiencies (Waste).
To meet time to Market requirements the EUV systems have been put into the market, leading to excessive maintenance costs which requires to get EUV maintenance cost in control: manage the EUV maintenance cost down base YoY without compromising the customer success and furthermore generate Service Revenue.

Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility

Project management for Cost consciousness, by defining the scope, target and action plans; and managing the executions to reach aligned targets
Operates as the operational / executional interface between key stakeholders
Labor hours efficiency, Parts cost, usage and reduction, Service Business opportunities and development
Stakeholders priority setting and understanding of the organization (interfaces) to get things done.

Education

Master degree, Business management, Industrial management or Engineering

Experience

•Experience with cost management, purchasing management (relationship, agreement management, etc…) or operational management experience. Being able to operate at cross sectors, working across boundaries, influence remotely, etc…
•Able to interact at all levels in the organization from VPs to Operation; making high level agreements and manage follow-up; as well as making detailed improvement steps, and follow-up / get things done. Ability to successfully influence all key stakeholders (Business Line, Account team; Operation teams, Finance Team)
•Experience in a challenging environment with high tech products and complex processes
•More than ten years’ experience in complex industry and global operations is a plus;
•Several years’ experience with and in performance improvement projects within a world wide support organization;

Personal skills

• Project management certification; Excel Scripts for automated reporting and analysis
• High level of personal ownership, initiative and drive;
• Capable of influencing people without formal authority, also at management levels; No fear of confrontations
• High level of personal leadership skills and well developed coaching skills;
• Able to analyze working methods / business processes, define and drive improvements, combined with a hands-on mentality;
• Excellent communication skills (English, both verbal and written);
• Experience in lean, lean deployment, six sigma and operational excellence is a plus
• Cultural awareness and the ability to work with different cultures

Other information

Position will include traveling (5~10%) to worldwide and (30%) across Taiwan
