At IT Competence Center Big Data & Advanced Analytics we deliver Data & Analytics solutions for ASML. IT at ASML is moving away from only being the department to deliver IT systems for ASML. Our business requires IT to play a bigger role as a strategic partner and help solve fundamental challenges. Recently, we started an Innovation Lab where we match technologies (Chatbots/Natural Language Processing/Computer Vision/Deep Learning) with business challenges.
The Innovation Lab is still in its start-up phase and we are shaping our own journey. We are looking for you to help grow and shape our lab by identifying and executing Data Science / Engineering / Data/ Process Mining / NLP etc. use cases across ASML business processes. A clear problem for you to solve is not yet available. As there are lots of opportunities, the concrete internship assignment will be created together with you.
Examples would be:
• How to apply ASML machine data to improve business processes;
• Apply data analytics tools & techniques to make manufacturing processes more data driven;
• Design and implement an approach for IT to be a key innovator in ASML.
You are a Master student in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Analytics, Data Science/Engineering or related. Some experience with coding and/or analytics is required. You are able to spot opportunities and think in creative & innovative solutions which have real value for our business. Heavy interest into technology and how to apply this within a company is preferred. Fluency in English is required, both written and verbally.
This is a Master apprentice or graduation internship for 5 days a week with duration of minimum 5 months. The start date is as soon as possible.
Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.

Will you contribute to corporate Data & Analytics? Help identifying the need for new Analytics tools and how to successfully adopt them within ASML? Study a new technology and describe its use for ASML? Or will you describe a new framework to support data engineering to leverage machine data?
