System Engineer (m/f/d) Citrix CVAD/ ADC

We are a high-tech company and leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chip manufacturers use to produce integrated circuits or computer chips. What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain and connect us. More than 1.400 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems at our facility in Berlin.

Role and responsibilities

• Administration, analysis and expansion of the high-availability Citrix site and ensuring stable and high-performance operation 

• 3rd level support: IT services, especially Citrix infrastructures 

• Independent processing of malfunctions as well as troubleshooting and technical support of the 2nd level support for Citrix 

• Execution of system tests of the Citrix environment and support of the tests of provided applications 

• Provisioning of clients/servers by means of Machine Creation Services and applications such as Terminal Server, VDI, Graphical-VDI, Netscaler ADC, WEM 

• Further development, optimization and monitoring of infrastructures and processes considering the requirements of the company 

• Ensuring IT service architecture quality and security  

• Proactive assessment and communication of risks in the existing architecture 

• Implementation and support of migrations 

• Documentation of infrastructure and processes 

• Support of projects

Education and experience

• Training as IT system electronics technician, IT specialist in the field of system integration or comparable training/studies in computer science/business informatics 

• Several years of experience in Citrix administrator/engineer tasks 

• Relevant experience in Citrix CVAD, Netscaler ADC, Workspace Environment Management, App-Layering 

• Good or specialized knowledge of Windows server and client operating systems, storage and VMWare vSphere desirable

• Ideally experience with PowerShell 

• Strong customer and solution orientation as well as communication skills

• Responsible, independent and structured work 

• Ability to work in a team, resilience and hands-on mentality 

• Good written and spoken English skills
