Job Mission

The Team Lead - LSO Freight, Shipping, you will be responsible to secure the transportation planning, documentation, improvement initiatives and the management of all stakeholders and 3PLs that contribute to our capability to secure capacity and processes to ship our or System and Non-System capital equipment. This position manages the process and freight options and On-Time delivery of our System & Non-Systems capital equipment. K to this role is the capability to streamline of the planning and documentation execution processes, lead improvement initiatives and action operational escalations promptly.

Job Description

  • Manager of shipping team members
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness of the shipment planning and documentation production process
  • Manage delivery requirements with local and regional stakeholders.
  • Identifies areas of improvements within the mandated area and deliver structural solutions to address those
  • Analyses of business data to determine improvement actions
  • In consultation with Freight Management Team leaders, conduct operational reviews with 3PL’s to manage amongst others, service, cost and quality
  • You will work with internal stakeholders, business analysts and Logistics Service Providers to ensure data availability, data accuracy and process alignment
  • You will support Request for information/Request for quotation data analysis, and subsequently the tracking of actual performance one RFP outcome is implemented
  • You will manage the transportation cost and budget related to shipments within your scope


Relevant MSc (Bachelor degree will only be considered if work experience is a right match).


  • Deep transportation management understanding
  • 5-7 years supply chain management experience, including hands-on logistics operations experience

    Work experience from international company with direct exposure to logistics/freight processes development and implementation will be an advantage.

Context of the position
