OPENINGS WITH ASML US, LP:Design real-time optimization and control algorithms to control and optimize droplet generator systems. Implement prototype versions of the optimization algorithms (real-time controllers) and test on the EUV sources to optimize and validate the design. Determine design requirements of production software for controllers. Develop mathematic models to simulate droplet coalescence process for algorithm development and implementation validation. Lead the development and integration of droplet coalescence control system solutions to enable stable and efficient production of EUV. Apply broad knowledge in sensors, actuators, control and optimization algorithms, software, and data analysis tools to drive optimization and control system improvements to enable continuously increased EUV power and system availability. Lead the design and building of tools that allow debugging, analysis, and performance evaluation of control system performance. Lead the root cause analysis for control system failures in products for integration and fielded units during escalations. Lead and perform integration activates including trouble shooting the control system, and designing and executing test plans, to ensure the system functions as designed in the EUV light source. Document work results with system requirements, design specifications, procedures, and training materials.EOE AA M/F/Veteran/Disability

Requirements: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. 1 year of experience in the field of high frequency liquid droplet formation process modulation and optimization. Industry experience. or graduate level research experience is acceptable.
