Job Mission

Your mission is to create transparency and analyze the performance of the product change process, while driving initiatives to improve quality, cycle time and efficiency of the actual implementation of product changes.

Your team ensures quality towards the business by managing controlled release of product changes towards operational sectors. The focus is currently on inspection of individual changes, while we gradually shift towards managing risks and issues in the process via root cause analysis. You guide your team in this transformation to a more holistic view.

In this transformation you use your management experience to build and develop the team’s problem solving, reporting and performance management capabilities to support our business lines and sectors with lessons learned and transparency on key performance indicators.

Job Description

As Manager Configuration Change Process Analysts, you lead a team of ~10 FTE. You are responsible to drive and create transparency of ASML’s performance of the product change process with your team of analysts. Hereby you work in a dynamic environment, maintain good stakeholder relationships and build a network to achieve your goals. This includes alignment with global counterparts at other ASML offices.
You need your leadership, change management, interpersonal, analytical and creative skills to lead, coach, guide and coordinate your team to achieve the performance objectives and transition of the team towards a holistic view.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Lead and drive performance of a team of businessanalysts against agreed targets on cycle time, predictable planning,rework and quality
  • Develop your team on known problem solving hard skillsand soft skills
  • Lead a team to improve adherence to the product changeprocess by performing periodic process audits, communicating the resultsand initiating improvement proposals.
  • Support Configuration Management with business requestsregarding project performance
  • Contribute to the Configuration Management Competence& embed improvements on CM roadmap, support in professionalizingConfiguration Management department.


Master’s degree


  • 8+ years’ work experience (mid-career)
  • This role requires a combination of line management andbusiness change management skills
  • Proven experience in problem solving techniques andcontinuous improvement
  • Experience in people development
  • Experience in organizational change management
  • Configuration Management certification (CMII module1-6) is preferred.

Context of the position

The Configuration Management department at ASML is organized across Engineering and Operations. This position reports into the Supply Chain Management sector. We are looking for people that can extend the management team to help with the next steps in development of configuration management at ASML.
