As flatness specialist you will responsible for the development of the next step in functional flatness together with a great team. For the flatness, we are working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. Role and responsibilities

Development of process steps for DUV-wafer chucks to improve functional flatness in the nm-range
-
Point of contact for other development groups with regard to flatness including overlay performance of wafer chucks
-
Technical preparation of requirements for measurement and correction process with focus on flatness

Development of products at the limit of technical feasibility

Analysis of process risks for manufacturability of products (work on FMEAs)
Education and experience
-
Master in engineering or science in the area of physics technologies
-
Theoretical comprehension of functional aspects of product concepts
-
Theoretical comprehension of topographical surface descriptions
-
Knowledge of measurement technologies especially in the area of interferometry
-
Knowledge of ion beam figuring is of advantage
-
Ideally, knowledge on manufacturing technologies of glass and ceramics
-
Good analytical and structural way of working

High level of self-responsibility and pro activity

Good communication skills and ability for teamwork

Fluent business German and English
