Job Mission

You will join ASML’s corporate communications team at our headquarters in Veldhoven − a small team with a huge audience. The team currently consists of six communications professionals that focus on strategic messaging and storytelling, as well as external communications.

The focus of this editorial position is on corporate and technology-related content. You will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders as well as with communications colleagues all around the world. By developing compelling content, in-line with our brand and content calendar, you will support ASML’s reputation and drive our business and social agenda.

Job Description

In this role, a good understanding of our business is the way to get a good story together. You demonstrate the ability to recognize business goals and translate them into compelling content that supports our reputation and visibility. You have a high affinity for technology and (near-) native English.

One of the first and main projects you will be working on is the company’s annual report, a publication that brings many aspects of ASML to life. You will align with the business stakeholders (mostly finance, sustainability and technology) and you will be responsible for driving its execution.

You will also be working on other corporate projects such as the company presentation and quarterly financial results, helping to develop clear messaging and content. When warranted, you will also offer hands-on support, write, create and edit. Throughout all of this, you keep your focus on what’s really valuable and will have the greatest impact.


Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications, or a science or engineering degree with relevant post-graduate training.


  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in journalism, communications or related field
  • A track record in corporate communications projects such as annual reports, financial and technology content
  • Ability to translate complex (technical) content into meaningful and engaging language
  • Strong stakeholder management skills − experience working with executive levels in an international environment and the ability to influence and network
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external resources and implement multiple projects across geographical and business/product areas

Context of the position

You will be part of a large, global communications team with a variety of backgrounds and nationalities, which offers inspiration and opportunities to learn and to develop yourself. Communications at ASML covers corporate communications, internal communications, branding, recruitment marketing, community engagement and digital communications. Our communications teams are located in the Netherlands, the US, South Korea, China and Taiwan.

Corporate communications is responsible for external communications (media relations, issues communications management, corporate social media and PR) and strategic messaging (storytelling, digital content and editorial brand).
