Your working environment
With specific R&D and manufacturing know-how, we develop and produce components for ASML Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) and Deep Ultraviolet (DUV) systems, including wafer boards, reticle chucks and mirror blocks. Our craftsmanship in precision manufacturing, coupled with our expertise in optical manufacturing technology, makes us the global centre of excellence for optics and wafer chuck technology within the ASML family.Your tasks
For the continuous optimization of our production of the above-mentioned high precision assemblies and system components, we are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in the production environment. In this challenging role you will be responsible for medium-to-large-scale projects with a project duration of up to two years and a project budget up to EUR 10 million.Technological challenges
- Optimizing the serial production of existing products according to the latest industry standards
- Ensuring the best possible production processes for new products
- Responsibility for a holistic approach across all functional areas
- Ensuring a high level of industrialization with focus on SPC, process capability, yield and training level, among others
- Focus on quality, lead times, production costs and productivity
- Consideration of output, ramp up and strategic goals
- Developing specifications for rooms, equipment and processes together with subject matter experts
- Coordination of the awarding process in close cooperation with the Purchasing department, the suppliers and the internal experts
- Specification of ramp up plans and support with pilot phases
- Coordination of manufacturing relocation activities inside and outside the site
- Close collaboration with R&D, technology and quality
- Consideration of global ASML production standards
- Project management with up to 20 project members and up to 50 project participants (stakeholders)
- Coordination of organizational and technical project goals
- Implementation of the projects based on the waterfall model
- Creation and review of resource and budget planning
- Risk assessments during the entire project
- Reporting and presentations
Your qualifications
- Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Solid knowledge of project management tools and methods, ideally with IPMA, PRINCE2, CAPM or PMP certification
- At least 3 years of experience with mechanical manufacturing processes in a (small) batch series environment, ideally in an international high-tech industrial environment
- Very good know-how in production process optimization
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German
