Are you a Master or Bachelor student in Physics or an Engineering field? Do you have a strong interest in Data Mining and programming? Then this apprentice internship could be interesting for you.
ASML is a leading provider for lithographic equipment inthe semi-conductor industry. In order to manufacture billions of transistors onto the silicon chips, our lithography machine, we call the scanner, projects an image on a photo-resist substrate with precision of nanometer scale. NXE machines use extreme ultra-violet (EUV) light for the wafer exposures. Dose control is a subsystem of the ASML scanner. Our dose control group is responsible to provide an accurate and stable dose/energy per square centimeters on the photo-resist substrate.
Our lithographic scanners generate a large amount of data. Your contribution to the group will be focused on the development of MATLAB tools and dashboards and on the analysis and understanding of the data created with those tools.
You are a Master or Bachelor student with a background in Physics or Engineering with a strong interest in data mining, programming or data analysis. You are a team player and you have an exploratory personality. You have a proactive attitude with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in MATLAB is a must. Additionally, affinity with lithography is required.
This is a Bachelor apprentice internship for 5 days a week with duration of a minimum 3 months and a maximum of 6 months. The start date is in January/February 2021.
Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.
