In Wilton, CT, ASML seeks Software Configuration Management Specialist – DevOps to serve as subject matter expert; be responsible for tools in development, Source Control Management (SCM) and access control; perform major changes in application upgrades and support and recovery; gather requirements and design and develop products in scanner program; participate in design preparation and promote quality code to the quality assurance team; resolve production issues; integrate new requirements in current scanner framework without impacting existing functionalities; perform end-to-end implementation of projects; resolve performance issues in scanner infrastructure; prepare the design and conceptual approach document for projects; assist team to resolve critical technical and system issues; be involved in all phases of software development process including fixing bugs, introducing new features using Unix shell scripting, and creating files and tools; work closely with senior team members to understand project requirements to develop high-quality code and software; work with other departments to further understand aspects required to fully support software development community; work with SCM functionality (ClearCase, ClearQuest, BitBucket, Kira), developer tools (IDE, code quality checkers, review tool, etc.), centralized build environment, test environment (DevBench) and web tools for Patch and Release functionality; take ownership of software development environment; define improvement proposals; investigate and implement non-standard changes with limited scope; provide 1st and 2nd line support; partner in discussions with SCM domain architects; and keep abreast with relevant literature, means and methods.Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering or a closely-related field and 5 years of relevant experience; experience in large technical software development environments; experience with ClearCase, ClearQuest, git, BitBucket, Jira, Jenkins, WindRiver WorkBench, and Code Collaborator; experience in Linux/Unix environment; experience with shell scripting, Perl, Ruby, and Python; and 2% international travel required.Apply online at www.asml.com.EEO/AA (W/M/Vets/Disability) employer.
