Introduction

Scope of the role
* Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) program for:
- environmental aspects or
- safety of working conditions or
- security

Team structure

* Reports to: EHSS manager

Key interfaces

* Internal:
- ASML employees on all levels
- Internal Audit Management
External:
- Customers
- Suppliers and EHS / FM representatives
- Local authorities

Specific requirements

* Bachelor or Master, environmental/safety/security professional HVK level
* 3-5 years of relevant working experience

Functional competencies and skills

* Contributes to EHSS projects
* Is able to secure progress in different management levels of ASML (projects, product teams, account teams etc.)
* Is able to manage the KPI’s
* Carries out know how of local legislation and standards by suggesting new policies and guidelines on EHSS issues and transfers them to (local) policies and guidelines together with local EHSS coordinators
* Advises on EHSS matters in case of new building or rebuilding activities and manufacturing
* Attends disturbances on EHSS topics and recommends local management on taking measurements
* Ensures that tools and equipment meet legal requirements based on local legislation
* Performs local EHSS audits on regular intervals and develops/implements new policies/guidelines based on the output from the audits
* Recognizes, keeps track and reports unsafe situations (incident reporting)
* Reviews facility safety installations and procedures
* Maintains EHSS skills and stays up to date with newest developments
* Develops and updates Training Material on ‘as needed’ basis
* Trains engineers through e.g.
- Local EHSS legislation requirements (level 0)
- EHS training ASML (CBT, level 1 & 2)
- Specific safety/security courses
