Job Mission

Support the Supply Chain Quality Operations Group in Hillsboro, Oregon with a focus on process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description

Main responsibilities:

  • Document and establish continuity across all facets of the tool planner/coordinator role; Value-stream mapping (VSM), flow chart and standard operating procedure (SOP) creation.
  • Aid in the development of LEAN strategies, reporting & improvement initiatives as part of 2020 roadmap.
    Analysis of current performance reports including costs estimates, on-time delivery, and material availability using various datasets.
  • Maintain a fixed set of daily performance indicators and report status to site management on risks, probability & mitigation strategies.

Education

At least 21 course credits completed specifically towards Logistics, Supply Chain or LEAN teachings in undergraduate or graduate coursework, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Access (Pivot Tables, VLookups).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred (non-specific).
  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
