Job Description

*This is a contract/temporary job opportunity for up to a year*

Responsibilities include generalist support and execution of the strategic people plan including talent selection and onboarding, succession and people development, employee engagement, employee relations, and organization development and change initiatives.Gather statistics and metrics (headcount, turnover, talent movement, HR program execution) and provide analysis and recommendations based on the data and business needs.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • HR partner support to R&D Engineering and Field Engineering teams
  • Regular Manager 1:1 Check Ins
  • Conduct HR pulse checks with employees and new hire check ins
  • Point of Contact for employee relations issues within business groups including fact gathering, analysis, recommendations, and performance improvement progress
  • Facilitate the exit interview process
  • Active participant in talent acquisition interviews and partner with talent acquisition in offer generation
  • Partner with immigration for immigration related issues
  • Conduct team meetings/building activities
  • Cross functionally partner with HR partners in Europe and Asia on HR related topics
  • Coach managers on conflict resolution and coordinate escalations


  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business or related degree


  • Minimum three years of applicable generalist experience in Human Resources

Personal skills

  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, compensation, performance management, and
    recruitment along with a strong familiarity with ASML systems and processes.
  • Experience working with managers and employees at all levels.
  • Trusted HR advisor with a successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills in order to prioritize competing, multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven coaching and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and develop
    solutions to address those issues.
  • Effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, work in a fast paced environment.
  • Innovative approach to improving our way of working and revamping our HR processes.
  • Successful track record of delivering superior client service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; presentation and platform skills required.
  • Highest standards of ethics and good business acumen.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and HRIS/SAP or similar.
