The mission of CS NPI EUV is to enable an on-time EUV ramp in the customer new nodes at designated cost while securing a profitable service business in 2020. The contribution of Performance Improvement Manager is to enable Results by implementing Operational Excellence with the service teams by defining, reviewing, and driving Product and organizational performance and KPIs and by removing inefficiencies (Waste).
How do we get there?
By analysis of KPI’s and underlying processes together with the process owners in the site operations and Central stakeholders, we define a roadmap of improvement ideas, strategies, standards and processes. This results into a portfolio of improvement projects that are defined to meet specific targets that are monitored and controlled by the Performance Improvement Manager. Areas that are of interest are for example: skill management,how to build an organization to meet cost requirements whilst serving our customer at the right level, performance management, supplier agreements etc. We execute projects to develop, deploy and improve standards and strategies for our CS EUV service business. Each project ends when the new developments have been embedded in the standard WoW of the CS department.
Manage the Taiwan EUV Performance Improvement Process and associated KPIs in order to achieve a cost effective service organization. Key internal customers of this improvement process are the EUV Taiwan directors and their EUV site managers and leadership team.
As CS EUV Performance Improvement Manager you will focus on all activities required to come to a solid, thorough and structural monthly KPI dashboard and more importantly the underlying improvement plans and their execution (roadmap).
The performance improvement manager will manage improvement initiatives and reporting processes and keeps all stakeholders aligned.
Furthermore, you will:
•Own the KPI reporting process and maintain the cadence;
•Ensure creation of solid improvement plans and follow-up execution of those plans and roadmaps for each KPI;
•Create transparency of the ongoing improvements and similar WoW across all 3x sites in Taiwan and projects;
•Drive the improvement process, implement discipline and organize commitment;
•Coach global project leaders as well as local teams to realize their roadmaps.
EducationMaster Technical Degree with proven experience (Metrology, Mathematics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, (Applied) Physics), Business Management Degree
Experience•Experience in a challenging environment with high tech products and complex processes
•More than ten years’ experience in complex industry and (worldwide) operations;
•Several years’ experience with and in performance improvement projects within a world wide support organization;
•Senior change agent and change management experience in fast changing environments (product innovation and product introduction);
•Experience in managing (internal) customer communication and stakeholder management;
•Knowledge of ASML organization, specifically with CS is preferred and/orASML products (in specific EUV knowledge), but not required.
Personal skills•High level of personal ownership, initiative and drive;
•Capable of influencing people without formal authority, also at management levels; No fear of confrontations
•High level of personal leadership skills and well developed coaching skills;
•Able to analyze working methods / business processes, define and drive improvements, combined with a hands-on mentality;
•Excellent communication skills (English, both verbal and written);
•Experience in lean, lean deployment, six sigma and operational excellence is a plus
•Cultural awareness and the ability to work with different cultures
Position will include traveling (5~ 10%) to worldwide and (10~30%) across Taiwan
