Job Mission

Our team works to enable ASML to be in control of the machine configurations by ensuring they know what’s in their systems at any point in time.
That means we work with all operational sectors and the R&D department to improve their business processes to ensure consistent and complete registration of all parts and software used in our systems. In order to identify pain points we rely on accurate and complete reporting on configuration design, registration completeness, and registration quality.

Job Description

As a Reporting Specialist, you will make a difference by not just working on new reports, but by also shaping our future tool landscape at ASML.
You will participate in the development of new software solutions that are going to reshape the way we do business, making product configuration information more easily accessible, allow for better communication with all stakeholders and still secure our intellectual property. In order to shape the roadmap for tool development, you will interact with several business sectors, learn about their priorities and requirements and you will help set priorities in development sprints.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Performance Management
    - Design of configuration registration performance metrics, such as KPI’s, and performance monitoring tools
    - Translate data (from multiple sources and datasets) into useful information and give constructive recommendations for improvement based on performance.
    - Create and link improvements towards the business sectors to drive improvement projects across departments with intent to improve efficiencies within the complete organization.
  • Improvement Projects:
    - Identify and communicate areas of improvement for existing or new processes based on your observation and evaluation of processes, analysis of data, and the need for improvements across the organization.
    - Create and link improvements towards performance management to drive improvement projects across teams with intent to improve efficiencies within the organization.
    - Support or lead implementation of process driven lean improvements.
    - Contribute to the further development of configuration management at ASML


Bachelors or Masters in industrial / logistics / engineering or technical business administration.


  • 3-5+ Years of experience in process improvement (Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Analysis for Office, etc).
  • Proficient with SAP and experience with BI systems (i.e. Business Objects).
  • Preferred knowledge and proficiency of Spotfire analysis/reporting tools utilized across ASML.
  • Preferred knowledge of Configuration Management theory, preferably CMII certified.
  • Some experience with business change management in complex organizations.

Context of the position

The Configuration Management team manages global configuration information, enabling ASML to achieve excellent delivery performance at minimum cost. It creates and controls machine configurations and related master data for ASML's Development & Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing and Customer Services departments.
