The D&E Business Transformation Office is looking for organizational change management professionals who work in natural project teams within program ONE and in change business teams who support our business partners in the organization to realize their targeted benefits by creating a pull in our people.

Job Mission

The organizational change management is a competence expert who engages the human factor in transformation programs by driving three main themes: 1) Impact 2) readiness 3) sustainability with the following results and benefits:

  • Impacted personnel are prepared and willing to adopt the change and work in new ways
  • Readiness for impact of personnel is ensured, less risk of redesign, rework, revisit, redo, reevaluate, retrain, rescope and reschedule
    • Maximum efficiency and quick adoption of new ways of working harvesting benefits
    • Maximum return on investment through high adoption and efficient use of new ways of working, processes, systems
    • Organization & competencies in place to drive sustainable results during and after the transformation is completed

Job Description

Key Areas of responsibility:

  • Takes ownership on embedding the required change with the goal to have business ready to adopt the impact in a sustainable way;
  • Identify key program deliverables and the D&E target groups impacted by it;
  • Advises, designs and agrees the change strategy and plan with the Program Manager, project team, line manager and supporting roles using as much as possible standardized methods and frameworks;
  • Drives and executes the Change plan according ASML's change management framework with high flexibility to adapt the plan on changing requirements and complexity;
  • Defines and coordinate communication activities and reviews related to the desired change and new WoW;
  • Defines and agrees on change project KPi's and reports on progress ;
  • Enables and supports the program project team to manage the transformation by standardized methods and frameworks that fit the needs of the business (goal oriented);
  • Reports on progress of change and communication plan.

Who do we need?

  • Organizational Change Professional with extensive knowledge in own specialized field built on a deep understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles and their context. Knows how to apply this knowledge based on a broader experience in more than one area. Is recognized by others as an authority in own discipline who conveys theories and practices of the professional field to other experts and related disciplines;
  • Formulates, leads and implements guidelines and procedures for department/ functional discipline and contributes to formulation of strategy;
  • Functional expert, who acts as coach within own functional area;
  • Advises based on understanding the business and business objectives regarding the area of expertise and liaises with strategic stakeholders in relation to the assigned area;
  • Thinking is concerned with the interpretation and tactical application of policy to come to optimal solutions for needs. Contributes to wider policy formulation based on perspective of own area of expertise translates performance expectations into specific goals to provide effective services, solve problems and achieve objectives.


Masters Degree


  • Has at least 5 years of work experience in different environments/businesses
  • Has at least 2 years’ experience inChange Management roles
  • Has knowledge of / experience in the most common Change Management theories & practices
  • Has knowledge of / experience with Lean and Agile principles
  • Has experience in working on business transformation/process improvement/IT systems projects, preferably in ASML
  • Has a strong cross sectoral ASML network
  • Has proven coaching experience
  • Is fully at ease in working with senior and middle management, but also in working with operational departments

Context of the position

The D&E Business Transformation Office assists D&E Management in driving the strategic and complex change initiatives in order to secure implementation into the D&E organization. Team members combine a solid basis of project/program management, deep knowledge of driving behavioral change and ASML business knowledge.
