In this role you would be making your mark on the Laser Light Generation Software for the CO2 laser of the next generation cutting edge chip manufacturing equipment (lithography machines) ASML is currently developing. You will be working with (Agile) teams within the CO2 SAFe train that provides the software (SW) which controls, diagnoses and supports the Laser Light Generation which is used to create EUV (Extreme UltraViolet). The group offers a challenging environment where software and function comes together in a complex system.

Job Mission

As a SW Integrator/Tester it is your mission to effectively get our software (automatically) tested and integrated, support improving our Continuous Integration. You are working with the SW development teams, their Scrum Master and Product Owner to get all deliveries from the teams integrated, tested and aligned. As the teams work in the same SW (GIT) archive you will help improve the strategy to integrate the different deliveries and bring them to the Test & Integration team (T&I) for system integration. You will also be responsible for further automation and (automated) execution of our (regression) tests in alignment with our Functional Cluster Test Architect (FCT).

Job Description

Working within the Source Laser Light Generation SW team you will be (contributing to):

• Improving and executing the SW integration strategy;
• Assist the SW engineers in Continuous Integration of high quality software;
• Our first point of contact with T&I;
• Automating tests;
• Taking ownership of regression tests / stability;
• Creating component tests and the next level tests (were all components come together);
• Performing/supporting proto tests;
• Performing manual execution of tests on testbench;
• Writing/Reviewing TPS/TAR from integrator point of view;
• Advising and assisting our FCT deploying the test/integration roadmap;
• Be part of the Source Continues Integration community.

Being part of a larger development organization requires constant interaction with your stakeholders to ensure an efficient and successful deployment of your deliverables. These stakeholders include the SW development partners, but also e.g. the Test & Integration team.


Bachelor or higher with an education in Computer Science, Informatics, Embedded Systems or equivalent experience.


• Work experience in a similar role with Testing and Integration for at least 3 years, we also welcome seniors with 8+ years of work experience to apply;
• Experience with SW integration using GIT and Jenkins;
• Experience creating automation tests in Python
• Experience with complex software development in an embedded environment;
• C/C++ knowledge is a must (to be able to understand the code);
• Quality minded;
• Experience in ASML SW testing is a plus, experience in Source a big plus.
