Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires concurrent engineering by all disciplines. The Project Manager, Product Lifecycle Management fulfills this need by bridging the gap between new product development, phase out and supply chain volume operations.

Job Description

As Project Manager, you’ll make a real difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by determining and managing the supply chain project plan of platforms, new products, associated introduction types (new builds, installs and upgrades), industrialization and phase-out strategies. Managing risks and requirements at product level across the full life cycle (feasibility, design, ramp, release-for-volume and phase down). Manage requirements at function development level. To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, creative and interpersonal skills and you’ll guide and coordinate your team of up to 15 supply chain team members.


  • Manage the supply chain introduction of new products from technical feasibility through ramp up and into volume production.
  • Plan and mobilize the resources of the supply chain management project team to support the product development plans.
  • Provide a key interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, and Procurement to align deliverables with overall project goals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the supply chain requirements and deliverables through key decision points in the ASML product development process.
  • Manage material availability to support customer service levels, inventory, quality, costs and risks. Secure the critical path of complex parts and assemblies in accordance with project goals.
  • Report to business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of all processes related to management of the supply chain.
  • Coach and develop up to 15 direct reports.


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering, or equivalent experience.


  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years demonstrated operation-based experience within supply chain or project management is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in new product introduction in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years recent experience managing direct reports required.
  • Result orientation, act under high pressure.
  • Stakeholder management: deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders both at operational and executive levels.
  • Organize cross functional cooperation.
  • Good business judgement and ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.

Role within the Factory


  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can work under deadlines.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
  • Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule – twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.
  • This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
