The selected candidate will join our Field Application team in Boise ID to support our key customer on daily basis. He/she will play a key role in enabling our business success through:
-Work closely with customer on daily basis to develop recipes using world's most advanced EBI equipment for defect inspection and CD metrology monitoring, to help customer improve their semiconductor process yield.
-Routinely Monitor inline defect inspection results, making sure data generated from HMI's EBI equipment is in good quality; verify tool status after PM and major tool down incidence, and work with field service on image and inspection related troubleshooting.
-Identify gaps between tool’s capability and customer detection & metrology needs; feedback to Marketing and R&D teams, and work closely with them on new feature development, including proposing new functions, technical discussion and providing engineering testing and feedback, etc.
-Execute NPI tools’ evaluation project and head-to-head competition at customer site,and work closely with technical support team and R&D to secure the success.
-Drive up HMI tool’s utilization through high quality recipe development, gap defect closure and in-depth technical engagement with customer defect analysis team.
-Support application activities of global customer Fabs, including gap defect detection, CIP implementation, recipes transfer & matching, etc.
-Generate reports and BKMs on new application cases and share with global Application teams.
-Provide application training for customer and junior application engineers.
Educational background in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering fields.
M.S degree with minimum 3 years’ experience or PhD degree with 1 year experience.
-Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Semiconductor process or equipment.
-Must have strong organizational, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
-Detailed oriented individuals with strong critical thinking, problem solving and follow-up skills.
-Fast learner with strong self-motivation to grow technically; be able to perform job at high standard with minimum supervision, and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
