Job Mission

As a High Voltage Expert, your mission is to specify, design and realize (electrical) designs for new and existing ASML products. Not only today but also you will contribute on defining the next generation of these products in close cooperation with the system architect and application specialists.

Job Description

As a High Voltage Expert you
-act as the Electronics Development representative in a multidisciplinary design team,
-simulate, specify and design High Voltage related designs up to 50kV,
-build and maintain the related test set-ups,
-perform trade-off studies to determine the preferred implementation scenario for new or changed functions,
-build up and safeguard High Voltage knowledge and you contribute to the roadmap concerning the High Voltage electronics within the ASML products,
-act as a technical coach for other designers and
-analyze and solve reliability issues and help out integration your design in ASML products. In Veldhoven or at one of the customer sites.

Education

Master Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics.

Experience

-Multiple years of experience as High Voltage Designer, including experience with working in multidisciplinary design teams to establish agreement on specifications.
-Preferably you have already developed for e-beam kind of systems and you are aware of HV related technologies (vacuum) and materials in this domain of super stable, low power high voltage applications.
-Preferably you have working experience on Electrostatics (in a mechatronic setting).
-Broad technical knowledge of electronics with basic knowledge of underlying physics, mechanics, mechatronics and software.
-Preferably working knowledge on standards for EMC and electrical safety (International (IEC) standards, US standards (NFPA, UL)) and SEMI.

Context of the position

The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. Within the cluster Electronic Development (EDEV), the group Applications Electronics is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions needed
for all Applications products (search Youtube for “ASML multibeam inspection” and “Yieldstar”). The High Voltage Expert will report to the group leader of Applications Electronics.
