Job Description

Wilton Manufacturing Engineering Assembly and Test has Summer Internship Position opening for undergraduate students of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering studies.High preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing.The main responsibility of the intern is to assist Production Engineers in the development of the manufacturing process for new product. This responsibility includes collecting and analyzing assembly and test data for the purposes of building and maintaining an SPC (Statistical Process Control) Database. Responsibilities may also include drafting technical work instructions and engineering test plans, and assisting in troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical problems. The intern will be working with senior Production Engineer during this internship.

Education

Currently enrolled in a college degree seeking program
Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering majors preferred
Must have 2 years of engineering coursework completed
Preferred GPA 3.5 or above, minimum GPA 3.0
