We are looking for engineers with abackground in software engineering or Unix/Linux system administration thatare up for the challenge of making sure our software is running smoothly onour products.

Job Mission

As a customer support engineer in the TaiwanSoftware Support Center, you will responsible for ensuring that ASML softwarewill be running smoothly on all of our products; increase availability anduptime of our products and diagnose/analyze complex issues.

Job Description

Prepare, perform, assist software actions onour products, e.g. installing/upgrading software.
Review and understand complex softwaredocumentation.
Troubleshooting of complex software issueson our products.
Determine structural solutions to softwareissues from a service organization perspective.
Participate in continuous improvement cycleswith our development and engineering department.
Regular customer communication to sharesoftware information, e.g. planning of solutions, status of issueinvestigation.

Education

Computer Sciences BSc.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in the semiconductorindustry is preferred.

Easily connect to and learn from yourenvironment.
Concise, transparent and open incommunication to all stakeholders.
Able to apply a structured and logicalapproach to troubleshooting and problem solving.

Context of the position

The Taiwan Software Support Center is partof the EUV technology group. The SSC provides software support for EUV andother ASML products in Taiwan. Our internal customers are plenty; theplanning teams that schedule and align activities with our customer, the EUVtechnology group which provides and arranges early access and beta testopportunities to our customers, the several software integration departmentsworld wide and a team of dedicated engineers in Taiwan, San Diego, Wilton andthe Netherlands
